Il mwbabecco a cucchiaio (mwbqmwbgCochlearius cochlearius) è un mwbwuccello mwcapelecaniforme della mwcqfamiglia degli mwcgArdeidi. È l'unica mwcwspecie nota del mwdagenere mwdqmwdgCochlearius .

La differenza fra i sessi consta nella presenza di un ciuffo di colore grigio che compare nel capo degli esemplari maschili. Si nutre di mweavermi, mweqinsetti, mwegmolluschi e mwewcrostacei. È diffuso in mwfaBrasile, mwfqVenezuela, Messico e mwfgColombia.
